Secure Transportation Period is Beginning with U-ETDS System
Postponement of the Transport Electronic Monitoring and Control System (U-ETDS), which aims to electronically monitor, evaluate and control the movement of goods, cargo and passengers carried by companies engaged in road, airline, seaway and rail transport activities, will end on December 31, 2020, and It will be activated on January 1, 2021.
U-ETDS comprises goods transporters (K1, K3, C2 and C3), logistics operators (L1 and L2), cargo operators (M1 and M2), transport warehouses (N1 and N2), distribution operators ( P1 and P2) and freight forwarders (R1, R2 and TIO), which all operate within the framework of Road Transport Regulation.
Pre-transport in exports, last transport in imports and domestic transport operations have become obligatory to be sent to the U-ETDS system. Logistics operators (L1 and L2) and freight forwarders (R1, R2 and TIO) are required to send the requested information about the cargo and transport process to the U-ETDS system within 6 hours from the departure time of the vehicle, for each goods transport activity they carry out.
Cargo operators (M1 and M2) and distribution operators (P1 and P2) are required to send the requested information to the U-ETDS system within 1 hour from the departure time of the vehicle.
“SOFT U-ETDS Shipment and Transport Data Integration Application” has been developed and put into service in order to enable our customers operating in the fields of road, air, sea and rail transportation to send the requested data to the U-ETDS System.
This interface application works in integration with SOFTTRANS® International Road Transportation, International Sea Transportation, International Air Transportation, and Railway Transportation, Domestic Logistics and General Cargo Transportation, Domestic Car Transportation, and Domestic Container Transportation Applications, to send, cancel, monitor, and report data in a controlled and automated manner.
Digital management of processes is provided with newly developed web-based applications: SOFT Workflow and Form System Application, SOFT Platform Independent E-Reconciliation Application, and other E-Document applications.
